Thank You for a great first week!

Thank you for a wonderful first week in Room 25.  Ms. Coleman and Ms. Barry were teaching together for the first two days of school.  What a treat for all of us!  This is a vibrant, energetic, sweet group.  We are going to have a terrific year.  We will talk about all our classroom procedures at Back to School Night on September 9th.  Until that time, homework folders and packets will go home on Monday and should be returned on Friday.  Please help us by reminding your child to complete homework and bring the folder to school.  All students who do this will earn Free Choice Time on Friday.  Thank you for your generous donations of supplies for our classroom.  We are in great shape to start the school year.  Thank you, too, for making sure your child is ready to enter the classroom by 8:25 AM.  We really appreciate that we can start our day at 8:30 AM.  If you are not walking or rolling to school, please use the Car Line or park in the neighborhood.  We are trying to reserve the spots in the middle lot for our TK-1 students.  We really appreciate all of your help getting our year off to a great start.  

We hope you are as excited as we are about beginning a new school year. We can't wait to get to know all our new students and families. We will be using this blog to keep you informed about classroom happenings, homework assignments and third grade events. We will send a group email every time we make a change on the blog. You should also check the Edna Maguire website at ednamaguire.org regularly since we will not duplicate all the school-wide information available at this site.  We are going to have a great year!
